About Me

An aficionado of literature, history, music and dance, Harini Srinivasan has found innovative ways of bringing her passions to her work. Among her achievements is her contribution as an editor of several prestigious publications published by the Publications Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, such as Selected Speeches of the President: Pranab Mukherjee; The Republican Ethic: Selected Speeches of Shri Ram Nath Kovind; Indian Dance – Through a Critic’s Eye; Abode Under the Dome; Legends of Indian Silver Screen; and Selected Speeches of the Vice President: M. Venkaiah Naidu.

She has authored a children’s book, The Wizard Tales- Adventures of Bun-Bun (Maple Press, 2014), historical detective mysteries, The Curse of Anuganga (TreeShadeBooks, 2019), Shadows and Secrets – The Pataliputra Conspiracy (TreeShade Books, January 2024); a historical story for young adults, The Merchant of Nagapattinam: The Origin Story (Yuva Authors, BlueOne Ink, July 2025); two romantic comedies, The Ex Factor (Om Books International, July 2023), Lovestruck and Confused (Om Books International, March 2025); a novella: Death at Arcade Emporia (Juggernaut Books, 2021) and several short stories for Juggernaut Books. An old Hindi cinema buff, she has also contributed to the bestselling anthology, The Swinging Seventies: Stars, Style and Substance in Hindi cinema (Om Books International, 2024). She has also been associated with Cinemaazi, the Indian film history and documentation project, as a content consultant. Along the way she has undertaken different roles (Civil Servant, Project Manager, Content Management Professional, Editor) across countries (India, Germany and The Netherlands). She was Head of Content at Aptech-EBG until April 2024. She has been associated with Scholastic Writer’s Academy Program since 2021 as a mentor/coach for children and adults and takes workshops about the nuances of creative writing and writing historical fiction. 

Based on her vast professional experience as a published author and editor, she now offers consultancy services to help individuals and organizations bring out professional and high-quality books (coffee table/ narrative) from concept to execution. The bouquet of services offered under her firm Lekhana Ink Consultancy includes mentoring sessions on the nuances of creative writing, content creation, ghostwriting, editing, proofreading, design, and self-publishing. Harini Srinivasan lives with her family in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR.
